Description:
C65500 Silicon bronze is a kind of bronze with silicon as the main alloy element. In addition to silicon, silicon bronze used in industry also contains a trace amount of manganese, nickel, zinc or other elements. Silicon in limited solid solution in copper is finitely, the maximum solubility of silicon in copper is 5.3% at 852℃, and the solubility decreases when the temperature decreasing. However, the effect of aging hardening is not strong, so it is generally not strengthen heat treatment .
Applications:
C65500 Silicon bronze can be used as important components in the mechanical industry, also can be used as high-strength overhead lines and guide electrodes for communication
